Patient Services Coordinator
Tamra Reynolds is a lifelong resident of Houston Texas. Tamra has worked in a customer service call center setting for twenty years, she also was a part-time police officer as she followed in her dad’s footsteps.
She felt the transition into using computers and learning office skills & helping people pushed her out of her comfort zone; but ultimately, it spurred her confidence and competence forward, and she has now served as a full time PSC for NewSound Hearing Centers for the last three years.
Tamra loves spending time with her family and especially her three grandchildren. She also enjoys working out in the gym and in the pool, walking, and reading.
When asked what Tamra enjoys about working at Newsound Hearing Centers, she states, “I am excited to be even a small part of the Starkey and Newsound Hearing Center family. It is an honor to work alongside such knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and caring people.”
Ashley Slay, HIS
Hearing Instrument Specialist
I joined the NewSound family in November 2020. I am a native Houstonian and obtained my bachelor’s degree in communication disorders from the University of Houston in 2017.
I am very passionate about being able to help people hear their loved ones again. I love to spend my free time with my husband and our two fur babies.
I go in for a check up and cleaning every three months. Never have any problems. My ears get cleaned and my hearing aids also get a good cleaning. Nice quiet atmosphere and friendly staff.Rosamond Simon, on Google

Great customer service. They helped my grandma in every way. The receptionist explained to us about the hearing aids insurance. The doctor saw her and fixed her earing aid. She even examined her ears.Veronica Martinez, on Google
